Clémence Hubert

After studying history at La Sorbonne , I choosed to do a publishing master in Angers , with the aim of working in the editorial department of a publishing house. Because of my studies, I am particularly interested in publishing in history, and more generally in the humanities and social sciences, but I am also interested in others editorial segments, and in particular comics. In addition, I have a particular attraction for the edition of art books, because I worked as a student at the Museum of Fine Arts in Rennes and I choosed a specialization in art history in licence.

Professional experiences

  • February-July 2023 : Six-month internship at the publishing house Hazan (Hachette), specialized in art books
  • February-March 2021 : One-month internship at the publishing house Les Perséides : Reading of manuscript, participation to the book fair "Rue des Livres" (Rennes), editorial work (layout of the inside and the covers of two books, checking of the proofs, searching of illustrations, writing the back cover)
  • July-August 2021 : two-month job at the museum of Fine Arts of Rennes (surveillance of the rooms, mediation, hosting publics)
